The Patch is a kooky craft beer cafe serving up delicious breakfasts and brunch, divine take away sandwiches and frothy modern craft beer from their line of taps. The Patch also opens up into the evenings, which in theory means you could spend your whole day here...

Journey Tip: Just a short walk from Lewes railway station this is an essential first stop to fuel up for the day and wet your whistle.

We don't need to say much about the BEAK Brewery Taproom, except it's probably one of the taproom of one of the best modern craft beer breweries in the UK. Only open Fri-Sun, the brewery closes and the benches come up. All the BEAK favourites are available and there's a rolling line up of pop food each weekend. 

Journey Tip: This journey can be completed in any order, but we recommend either popping here after The Patch or ending up here (it's about a 25 minute walk to Lewes railway station)

Taking its name from a historic event that saw snow fall from the looming Lewes cliffs and cover the pub, The Snowdrop is a must visit. Modern craft beer at the bar, European lagers and little bit of cask usually from Harvey's Brewery. The food here is apparently very good, too. Hopefully the owner's two white huskies (we think they're huskies) will be there to say hello.

Journey Tip: The only 'pub' on the journey, this is a perfect pit stop halfway between BEAK and AYBSS.

ABYSS Brewing are pumping out incredible modern beers which are often dank, juicy and very moreish - they also brew lots of exciting collabs with top brewery's around the UK. There's often a food pop up here on Saturday's and there's plenty of room to pack the punters in. The staff are cool and the flights come on a skateboard. Love it.

Journey Tip: Again, depending on how you tackle this journey, we would recommend either stopping here second or making it your landing site. It's about a 15 minute walk from Lewes railway station.
